The Nevill Estate Company
The Lower Pantiles
The Nevill Estate Company Ltd is responsible for the overall management of the Eridge Estate and the wide range of activities in which it is involved.
The Eridge Estate is a family owned country estate comprising some 3,000 acres of rolling countryside on the border of Kent and East Sussex, two miles south of Tunbridge Wells.
The Estate’s activities include the letting of properties (offices, workshops, storage units and residential properties), the restoration of the historic Deer Park and other country pursuits. It is also responsible for coordinating the hire of the Estate facilities for weddings, corporate events, private parties, sporting competitions, game and country fairs, film and photo shoots.
In February 2012, the 6th Marquess of Abergavenny bought the Lower Pantiles which had previously been owned by the Nevill family until 1939. The Lower Pantiles, in the heart of historic Tunbridge Wells, includes Royal Victoria House, the Corn Exchange, the Auction House and Sussex Mews as well as shops, offices and flats. A management company, Lower Pantiles LLP, has been established to oversee a sympathetic development of the area to maximise the opportunities and benefits for the local community while enhancing the attractive historic inheritance.
A new website has recently been created which details everything at The Pantiles from shops and events to job vacancies and blogs.
